This March, I am thrilled to give my first Studio Tour AND bookmaking workshop of the two exhibits “Me, Here:” Stories of People & Place. As the 4 exhibits at the new Columbia Pike Studio location are part of my Arlington Arts Individual Artist’s grant, I had planned to document the work by creating a catalog and telling the stories of how the exhibits came about.
As a book artist, I thought it would be fun to teach people how to make their own copy. The unique Handmade Storybook will have space inside for each participant to write their own “Me, Here” story after the tour where they will see how so many creative people tell their stories, even as they learn how to fold and bind their own copies of the catalog.

No previous expeience in bookmaking is neccessary.
